Current Opportunities
We are always looking for talented individuals who share our values. Below are some typical roles we recruit for:
1. Guest Experience Concierge
- Location: Any EastLang Retreat (Yangzhou, Tulou, Baisha, Badaling)
- Role: Serve as the primary point of contact for guests during their stay. Coordinate cultural activities, dining, and transportation to ensure a seamless, personalized experience.
- What We Look For: Exceptional communication skills, fluency in English and Mandarin, a warm and proactive attitude, and a passion for cultural storytelling.
2. Cultural Activity Coordinator
- Location: EastLang Retreats (Fujian, Yunnan, or Jiangsu)
- Role: Design, schedule, and lead guests through curated cultural experiences (e.g., tea ceremonies, calligraphy workshops, embroidery classes). Work closely with local masters and artisans.
- What We Look For: Deep knowledge of Chinese traditions and crafts, strong organizational skills, and the ability to inspire guests. Experience in education or event planning is a plus.
3. Marketing & Content Specialist
- Location: Headquarters (Beijing) or Remote
- Role: Develop digital content (social media, blogs, videos) that showcases our retreats and cultural experiences. Manage our online presence and collaborate with influencers (KOC/KOL partners as outlined in our EastLang marketing plan).
- What We Look For: A strong portfolio in content creation (photography, videography, or copywriting), understanding of social media trends, and a love for travel and culture.
4. Private Chef / Culinary Artist
- Location: EastLang Badaling Retreat (Hebei) or Baisha Retreat (Yunnan)
- Role: Prepare seasonal, all-inclusive menus for our guests using fresh, local ingredients. Collaborate with our Executive Chefs (Mars Liu and David Zhao) to innovate on regional cuisine.
- What We Look For: Formal culinary training, experience with Chinese regional cuisines, creativity, and a commitment to organic, sustainable practices.
5. EastLang Tour Butler & Photographer
- Location: Greater Bay Area (Shenzhen, Foshan, Qingyuan) or other EastLang tour routes
- Role: Serve as a dedicated butler for our 6-8 person boutique tour groups. Provide full-time photography and styling services to capture guests' travel stories.
- What We Look For: Professional photography skills, hospitality experience, fluency in multiple languages (English preferred), and a fun, energetic personality.
